Local Server Issue?

Local server not reachable?

Permission: (Manager and Admin can do but Cashier cannot do)
Path: POS > Preferences 
  1. Navigate to the above path 
  2. Logout all other child devices
  3. Turn on " Make this Local Server" toggle to make your system as a parent device.
  4. Now login the child devices.
Parent Device - The device which you want to act as a main device
Child Device - The devices which are using the server and sending commands to the main device.
Make sure all the devices are connect with the same network.

Still facing the error " local server not reachable"?

Step 1: Allow Rista app in your windows firewall!

Path: Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Defender Firewall
  1. Navigate to the above path to open Windows Firewall.
  2. Click on "Allow an app or feature through Windows defenders firewall"
  3. Click on "Allow another app"
  4. Click on "Browse" and locate Rista Files (C:\Rista Sales).



Step 2: Make a local server in your system.
