Rista not working?

Rista not working?

Application Not Opening

Permissions: (All Users)
When the Rista is not loading( Not responding)
  1. Open Task Manager( Ctrl + alt + delete)

  2. Search for the file “nwjs”

  3. Select the nwjs and click on end task.

When application is opening with some error (.exe file not opening properly)


  1. Uninstall the application and delete the folder of Rista Sales in the C drive.

  2. Download the latest version of Rista from “Ristaapps.com”

  3. Scroll down to the bottom and click on windows to download the application.


Data Loading Error or Application Freeze 

  1. Try going to the other module and coming back to POS Module by clicking on 9 dots.

  2. Uninstall the application and reinstall.

  3. Delete “Temp, %Temp% and  Prefetch” in system by opening run( Windows Button + R).

Application Opening but Login Issue

License not available

Permissions: (Manager and Admin can do but Cashier cannot do)

  1. Click on 3 dots and open accounts

  2. Open Existing licenses to check if licenses are attached or not.

  3. Check with Rahul from Finance team (Ready with Account Number and Branch Code).


When the User is not able to login because of branch change or Offline/Online Issue

Path: C:\Users\hp\AppData\Local\Rista Sales

  1. Clear the App Data (Check the path above)

  2. App data is always Hidden so, change the settings to view hidden files.

  3. Go to local in the app data and navigate to Rista Sales and delete the folder

  4. Generate new DRK for login.
